Tiempo de Zarigüeyas

2024

A bilingual publication that looks back at Zarigüeya/ Alabado Contemporáneo, an experimental exhibition program curated by Manuela Ribadeneira, Manuela Moscoso, and Pablo Lafuente at the Museo de Arte Precolombino Casa del Alabado in Quito between 2016–21.

Comprising interviews with the six participating artists (Asier Mendizabal, Osías Yanov, Adrián Balseca, Caroline Achaintre, Tamar Guimarães, Gonzalo Vargas M.), exhibition photography, a critical essay, as well as a self-reflexive roundtable conversation with the three curators, the book ponders the program's impact as well as its future implementations.
